Tim Tebow makes his prediction for the Super Bowl, then goes a step further
Tim Tebow went live on his Facebook page Tuesday to talk about his upcoming Night to Shine event.
The event provides a prom night experience to people with special needs ages 14 and older.
On Feb. 9, more than 540 churches around the world will host approximately 90,000 guests for Night to Shine.
“Night to Shine is a night for the churches to shine, the volunteers to shine, our honored guests to shine, and most importantly, God to shine!” the Tim Tebow Foundation says on its website.

But while Tebow was on Facebook live, one viewer couldn’t help but ask for Tebow’s opinion on who will win Super Bowl LII.
“We’re trying to talk about something that means so much more than just a game, OK?” Tebow said with mock outrage.
“But that being said, I’m going to go with the Patriots,” said Tebow. “It’s Tom Brady. Let’s be honest, he’s the best of all time.”
The Heisman winner spent time with both Philadelphia and New England at the end of his NFL career.
It’s not surprising he’d pick the favored Patriots, especially since he worked alongside Brady and saw how the star quarterback trains day in and day out.
Tebow spent the rest of the Facebook video talking about his Night to Shine event.
“It’s my favorite night of the year,” he said, “because I have such a heart for people with special needs. … It is so exciting because for the first time a lot of these kids are going to feel worth. They’re going to be celebrated. They’re going to be crowned as kings and queens. …
“It’s more than just a prom. It’s more than just a dance. It’s a night where people can feel worth. They can know that we love them, but more than that, the God of this universe has an amazing plan. They’re not an accident, but they’re significant and they’re special. …
“This is probably the first time in their life that they have ever been celebrated, truly celebrated. … It’s amazing to see what can happen in somebody’s life, in their heart, when they realize that they truly have worth.”
It seems as though Tim Tebow isn’t the only one whose favorite night is the Night to Shine event.
Today, Jacob had an excellent orthopedic surgeon apt & gave him clearance to start limited walking again. Also went to tux rental store for the upcoming #NighttoShine prom! Hopefully, he might be able to do a little dancing by then. #blessed 💛😃 @tebowfoundation @fbcwoodstock pic.twitter.com/GXc92INmRF

"After the boutique one mom said her daughter felt like Cinderella & couldn't stop talking about her experience. I was thinking, 'If that’s how she felt at the BOUTIQUE…boy is she gonna love Night to Shine!'" Justin Windham – Faith Community Church #NightToShine @ARSRescueRooter pic.twitter.com/FeA4BWdlPW

Night to Shine continues to grow every year. In 2017, the event hosted 75,000 guests with the help of approximately 150,000 volunteers.
“One of the reasons we have this the Friday before Valentine’s Day,” Tebow said, “is at a time where a lot of people are searching for a self-gratifying form of love, that we really believe that a sacrificial form of love, when we are really giving, when we are really caring about other people, how it’s more fulfilling than anything else we can do.
“And I think by being involved in this, you will truly see what I mean.”
