Celebrity abruptly leaves interview with ESPN after his love life questioned
Before Friday night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity game, an interview with celebrity baller Jamie Foxx ended abruptly when ESPN’s Michael Smith asked a question Foxx didn’t like.
Smith made mention of photos that showed Foxx and actress Katie Holmes playing basketball on Valentine’s Day. Foxx and Holmes are reportedly a couple, although the two don’t discuss their relationship publicly.
Smith then asked Foxx, “Did you and Katie Holmes’ play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real ‘Love and Basketball’ game?”
Instead of responding, Foxx pulled off his headset and walked off camera, as an assistant removed his microphone and headset.

US Weekly had reported on Foxx and Holmes, the former wife of Tom Cruise, and their basketball romp earlier in the week, so it seemed an innocuous enough question for Smith to ask.
@michaelsmith I don't think Jamie Foxx liked the Katie Holmes question 😂

But it did not sit well with Foxx.
Foxx looked loose before the game, dancing around, while teammate Bubba Watson looked pretty locked in behind him.

Quavo, a member of the rap group Migos, won the game’s MVP honor with 19 points.

Foxx put up a goose egg, failing to score in seven minutes.
But Watson might have had the best weekend of all. He only scored two points in the celebrity game, but he went on to win the PGA Tour’s Genesis Open at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.
