Watch: Yankees slugger Stanton blasts HR right into bachelorette party
Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton knows how to crash a party.
In the third inning of Yankees’ 8-5 win over the Orioles on Saturday, Stanton hit his 12th home run of the season into the right field bleachers at Camden Yards.
It landed right in the middle of a bachelorette party.
The women were all decked out in Orioles garb and were wearing hats that said “Team Bride.”
The ball was retrieved by one of the ladies as the others all celebrated the special souvenir.
OK, so it wasn’t an Oriole who hit it, but a souvenir is a souvenir.
Stanton, meanwhile, was just happy to help his team win.
“It was a good day, good at-bats, saw the ball well and it was a great team win,’’ he said after the game, according to the New York Post.
Yankee starter Masahiro Tanaka earned the win to improve to 7-2.
For the Yankees, it was their fourth straight win, and it gave them a narrow lead in the American League East over the Red Sox.
The Orioles fell to a league worst 17-41.
Baltimore starter Kevin Gausman took the loss.
The Yankees and Orioles were supposed to conclude their three-game set on Sunday, but the game was postponed due to weather.
Today’s game against the Orioles has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday, August 25th with Game 1 scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET and Game 2 scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.

The Orioles have given their fans very little to cheer about this season, but at least one bride-to-be and her friends left the ballpark happy on Saturday.
