Look: Fan rushes field, gets leveled by CFL player
If you’re going to run onto a football field in your underwear, you better be prepared for more than ridicule.
During Saturday night’s Candian Football League season-opener between the British Columbia Lions and Montreal Alouettes in Vancouver, a fan came on the field during a break in the second quarter in his skivvies and a BC Lions shirt.
The fan was prancing around, making a spectacle of himself while the players on the two teams looked on in bewilderment.
But there was one player that was having none of it.

Seeing no security on the field, Lions defensive back Marcell Young took matters into his own hands.
When the streaker ran past him, Young got a running start and absolutely drilled the guy with his shoulder.

The guy was sent flying to the turf as one member of the field crew and one of the referees tended to him.
A few of his teammates applauded Young and congratulated him for the hit.
The fan was down for a bit, but was helped to his feet and escorted off the field by security.

The fan may have gotten his wish and gone viral, but not for the reason he hoped.
My guess is he will be feeling that hit for a few days to come.
The Lions won the game 22-10.
