US Soccer Player Ali Krieger Makes 'Groping' Claim Against Trump
Yet another member of the U.S. women’s national soccer team is making extremely anti-President Donald Trump statements.
This time, the insult comes courtesy of Ali Krieger in response to a series of tweets from the president on Wednesday morning.
She tweeted out, “In regards to the ‘President’s’ tweet today, I know women who you cannot control or grope anger you, but I stand by @mPinoe & will sit this one out as well. I don’t support this administration nor their fight against LGBTQ+ citizens, immigrants & our most vulnerable.”

It’s unclear why she put “President’s” in quotation marks when Trump is, in fact, president of the United States.
The tweets to which Krieger responded involve teammate Megan Rapinoe and the U.S. women’s national team.
Asked if she would attend the White House if the women’s team wins the World Cup this summer, Rapinoe responded, “I’m not going to the f—ing White House. No, I’m not going to the White House. We’re not going to be invited. I doubt it.”

Trump reacted to this in a series of tweets.
He wrote, “Women’s soccer player, @mPinoe, just stated that she is ‘not going to the F…ing White House if we win.’ Other than the NBA, which now refuses to call owners, owners (please explain that I just got Criminal Justice Reform passed, Black unemployment is at the lowest level in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER), leagues and teams love coming to the White House.
“I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job! We haven’t yet invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!”
Although Krieger attempts to paint Trump as a misogynist, he has hired plenty of women to prominent positions within his administration.
Kellyanne Conway serves as the counselor to the president, and his daughter Ivanka Trump is an advisor to him. Plus, Sarah Sanders served as the White House press secretary, and Nikki Haley was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations for two years.
Why members of the U.S. women’s soccer team feel the need to express their leftist political views is unclear.
Their team is funded by the U.S. Soccer Federation, which has this mission statement: “to make soccer, in all its forms, a preeminent sport in the United States and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.”
It’s unclear how the players will help promote the game while alienating millions of Trump supporting families. If anything, speaking about politics seems counterproductive to the goal.
