Dad So Sickened by What He Sees on His Boy's Cell Phone, Immediately Calls Cops on Own Son
Parents are typically natural advocates for their children. They are quick to support their children’s goals and come to their defense during a conflict.

Paul Spensberger was faced with an incredibly difficult situation as a father.
His 17-year-old son Andrew didn’t need his defense. He needed his father to do the right thing.
Sadly, the right thing, in this case, meant calling the cops on his own son. Andrew’s girlfriend had a toddler relative who was sleeping at the time that Andrew approached her.
He pulled out his cellphone and took pictures of her. The girl was just two-years-old and naked.
Andrew’s alleged intention for taking the photos was to make money. He wanted to pay back people to whom he owed money.
He thought one of his classmates seemed like a pedophile so he wanted to sell the photos for $350.
On Dec. 30, 2017, Spensberger took away his son’s phone as punishment before finding the photos.
Andrew had gotten in trouble for theft before, but having photos of a naked two-year-old with the intention of selling them was more than a bad choice. The father was “disgusted,” according to Daily Mail.
“Andrew is a thief but he is not sexual like that,” he also stated. Spensberger was still completely sickened by the photos and called the police on his son.
Andrew was arrested and faced a Class D felony charge of child pornography possession with a $10,000 bond. His time in jail has been spent living in remorse and fear.
Spensberger owns a construction business and could pay the bond. He wants his son to learn a lesson, though.
The toddler’s family has somehow found forgiveness for Andrew. The teen’s mother is concerned that other inmates may not find that same forgiveness and target Andrew because of his charge.
Facebook user Thomas Ross commented on the O’Fallon Missouri Police Department Facebook status regarding this story with a thoughtful response: “Easy money attracts many to perversive ways, selling drugs, child porn, child trafficking, child predators. Children should never be victims of such predators, how one can even consider such a means for monetary reward is beyond all moral principles.”
But we’re thankful this father did the right thing, and hopefully his son learns his lesson.
