Watch Dog's Reaction the Moment He Realizes They're Pulling into the Dog Park
Dogs are wonderful for so many different reasons, but especially for how excited they get about their favorite things and people.
My dog Oliver, for example, would run circles around me and then run laps around our house every time I came home from college.
I think some of the most precious videos to watch are dogs reuniting with their military masters when they come home after being deployed for an extended period of time.
They are so excited that they jump around and lick their person, all the while with their tails wagging as fast as they can. Some even cry as they are reunited.
A dog’s love and excitement are unlike any other.
One dog named Scrattie knows that this excitement extends past people returning home. There are many simple pleasures in a dog’s life.
For Scrattie, a trip to the dog park is his absolute favorite activity and his anticipation for the fun to be had is hard to contain.
As soon as his owner turns the corner for the dog park, Scrattie knows where they are going. He starts whimpering and shaking in the arms of the woman sitting in the passenger seat.
But then they pull into the parking lot and he goes insane!

Scrattie leaps into his owner’s lap while he is still driving, jumping up and licking his face.
“I can’t drive,” his owner repeats as the excited dog continues his happy dance without worrying about car safety.
So Scrattie turns around and puts his paws on the steering wheel, eager to help them reach their destination so he can go play.
It’s pretty clear that Scrattie loves the dog park and, despite his unsafe car behavior, was still able to go run and play with all of his friends.
