Harrison Ford Interrupts New Han Solo Star's Interview for Hilarious Surprise

Share

With summer upon us, many of us are anxiously anticipating the annual onslaught of summer blockbusters. And what could be more exciting than a new addition to the Star Wars saga?

These days, it seems the franchise is everywhere. From “May the 4th be with you” to an all-new adventure in the works at Disneyland, lightsabers and rebel attire surround us.

I’m sure it’s safe to say I was not the only fan to be disappointed when actor Harrison Ford made his exit from his role as Han Solo in “The Force Awakens.”

Don’t get me wrong, Luke is great and all, but the films just aren’t the same without that iconic, Han Solo half-smile.

Now with the upcoming Star Wars story dubbed “Solo,” many are wondering if their favorite character will be ruined when played by another actor.

On the other hand, some of us have high expectations for the film, hoping to get a glimpse of where and when the great Han Solo began.

Alden Ehrenreich (“Beautiful Creatures” and “Running Wild”) is set to play the iconic hero. Come May 24th, we’ll all have a chance to see if “Solo” makes the cut as a win or a fail.

Fans have speculated whether or not Harrison Ford supports the new film. A recent video has gone viral that may put everyone’s worries at ease.

The timeless actor is possibly most well-known for his sense of humor. Both on and off the screen, Harrison Ford seems to love a good laugh.

So when Ehrenreich sat down for an interview to talk about playing Ford’s character, the young actor was somewhat shocked and starstruck to discover just who would be crashing his party. Watch as an unexpected guest graces the scene in style.

Ehrenreich’s reaction is priceless. The best part is when Ford demands, “Get out of my chair. Get out of my life.”

The two then proceed to shake hands and even share a friendly hug. “I was just in the neighborhood… you know they’re having an old-timer’s convention,” Ford jokes.

This just goes to show you’re never too old to have a little fun. Ford may not have plans to appear in any future Star Wars films, but this video shows he must still hold his character close to his heart — maybe this means there’s hope for a cameo appearance in a galaxy far, far away after all?
