Mom Shares Brilliant Windex Cleaning Hack After Squirting it on Fabric Seat of Chairs
One of the best things about the creation of the internet and social media is the plethora of information available at the click of a mouse.
There’s pretty much a life hack for everything these days. Video tutorials and viral posts make it super easy to find an answer for many of life’s daunting questions.
Got an excruciating sunburn? There’s a hack for that! Want to order a latte for under $3 at Starbucks? There’s a hack for that one, too!
Moms everywhere are sharing their awesome tips and tricks on social media. Farewell, permanent stains!
Thanks to Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, most tough stains can become a thing of the past.
South Carolina mom Samantha Roberson shared a post in 2017 that anyone with microfiber in their house will drool over.
If you own a piece of furniture covered in microfiber, whether that be a chair or a couch, the awesome hack Roberson shared is one you need to see.
I personally own a microfiber couch and it’s such a pain to clean. Every time something gets spilled, I’m forced to remove the cushion covers and throw them in the wash.
No longer! Check out Roberson’s experience with her microfiber chairs and a bottle of a common household item you probably have in your cabinet.
“All I do is scrub it with Windex and a microfiber towel/rag,” Roberson’s caption reads. “Share to save a life.”
Windex? Who knew? No wonder these photos have been shared over 150,000 times. I’ll bet more than a few parents have had their life saved by this tidbit of wisdom.
These photos are truly amazing, but does this hack really work? Check out this video from vlogger mom Brittan Arianne to see the glass cleaner in action.
Arianne says she heard you’re supposed to use Windex, but it looks like even a plant-based cleaner will do the trick.
She doesn’t use water or soap or anything else. Just the cleaner and a scrub brush seem to be all that is needed to have their microfiber furniture looking new again.
Note: This cleaning method had not been tested and is not endorsed by Liftable. As with all hacks or tips seen online, if you’d like to attempt using this method, please proceed at your own risk.
