Kathie Lee Gifford's 28-Year-Old Son Is Spitting Image of Late-Father Frank
It’s quite something to see a marriage in the entertainment industry last through the years. So many Hollywood couples split up and divorce.
In 2015, America said goodbye to a great man and NFL legend. Frank Gifford was married to the lovely Kathie Lee Gifford for 29 years.
After her beloved husband passed away from a degenerative brain disease, Kathie Lee openly shared her faith-filled sentiments with People magazine.
“When the Lord calls you home, you go home,” she said. “What are you going to do, argue with the Lord?”
The iconic couple had two children. Twenty-eight-year-old Cody and 24-year-old Cassidy could often be seen with their parents at events throughout the years.
Cassidy loves the camera like her mom and became an actress. Cody played football like his dad and went on to earn his master’s from Oxford University.
“He paid tribute to his father in 2014 by helping shepherd his memoir, ‘The Glory Game: How the 1958 NFL Championship Changed Football Forever,'” ‘Today’ reported.
Now people are commenting on just how much the young man looks like his dad. A photo taken at a Hallmark Channel party has earned quite a bit of attention.
Kathie Lee shared the photo on Instagram. “Best time with Cody and Cassidy,” she wrote in her caption.
As soon as it was posted, the comments started pouring in, and many feel the Gifford kids are the spitting images of their parents.
“Cody and Cassidy both look so much like you and Frank, Kathie,” one commenter said. “Beautiful children from 2 beautiful people. God has truly blessed you.”
There’s definitely a family resemblance. Cody could be the clone of a younger Frank Gifford. What a good looking guy!
His son talked to People magazine about how he looked up to his New York Giants Hall of Fame dad, calling the man “his ideal role model.”
Kathie Lee and her children no doubt miss Frank Gifford a great deal. But I’ll bet she smiles every time she looks at her son, reminded of the great man, father and role model her husband was.
