Fergie Shares Sweet Throwback Photo on Princess Beatrice's Birthday Revealing Nickname

Share

Birthdays are often the sweetest days of the year. Friends and family send cards or personal messages through social media.

One special woman celebrated her 30th birthday on August 8 with lots of love and support from those closest to her.

Princess Beatrice is the oldest daughter of Sarah, better known as “Fergie,” Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

While Fergie’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, has big plans to celebrate her own special day later this year, August is all about her older sister.

The royals took to Instagram with sweet photos and shoutouts for Princess Beatrice. Her baby sister had more than a few sweet words to share about her only sibling.

The sisters are featured in the September issue of British Vogue. Princess Eugenie shared a photo from the issue on Instagram last week.

The photo features the royal sibs together on a bench surrounded by terriers. “I’m very proud to be in the September issue of Vogue alongside my beautiful big sister talking about our bond, who we are and what we stand for,” Eugenie wrote.

It’s clear the sisters share something special. Princess Eugenie also posted a throwback photo of Beatrice and their mother.

“Happy 30th birthday to you Beatrice…” Eugenie wrote in her Instagram caption. “What an amazing sister you are and we are so proud of the person you have become!”

The bride-to-be wasn’t the only one to share a throwback photo of the birthday girl. Fergie also posted a little something to celebrate her oldest’s 30th.

The photo features a younger Beatrice and Eugenie in matching floral-print dresses. The smiling sisters are adorable!

“Happy birthday my Trixie – Belle,” Fergie wrote on Instagram. “So proud of you xx.” Trixie Belle? If that’s not the sweetest, most endearing nickname I’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is.

Princess Eugenie will marry Jack Brooksbank on October 12. People revealed that Princess Beatrice will be her sister’s maid of honor.

These two are quite obviously the best of friends. Their mother must be very proud of her “Trixie – Belle” and Eugenie.

Which leaves us to wonder — will Fergie reveal a special nickname for Eugenie when her big day rolls around?

Do you nickname your family members?

According to Hello, this royal family isn’t lacking in nicknames for one another. Hello reported the September issue of British Vogue revealed that Princess Eugenie refers to her mother as “Mumsie,” while Princess Beatrice calls her sister “Euge.”

These nicknames are too cute. I can’t wait to hear what they come up with next! Do you have any nicknames for the members of your family?
