Photographer Recreates Celeb Photos with Dog in Hilarious Costumes

Share

They say that immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. For Vincent Flouret, it is a doggone labor of love.

Flouret is a talented French photographer based in Paris, France, according to Bored Panda. He shoots high-end fashion shots and has taken his skill to a whole new level with his beloved dog Max.

Lovable 6-year-old Max has been Flouret’s companion and muse. The photographer has featured Max in many of his photo shoots.

It all started when Flouret began a volunteer project at City Shelters in Los Angeles, California.

Flouret took studio portraits of the shelter dogs at City Shelters in an effort to help them find adoptive families as soon as possible.

When Flouret realized that dogs were the perfect subject to shoot, he turned to his best friend Max for his next project.

Focusing on his background in high-fashion photography, Flouret thought Max could be transformed into his favorite artist — Madonna.

Flouret styles Max and recreates the iconic album covers and video scenes that Madonna is so well known for. Max couldn’t be happier, and the resemblance between the two stars is uncanny.

“These pictures, between the shoots, the homemade costumes, the training took me eight months to do,” Flouret told Bored Panda. “I am a big fan of Madonna, these pictures I’m doing with Max are tributes to artists that I love and respect.

“It’s a break between my commercial work, that is bringing me to the simple pleasure of pure creation, love, and happiness,” he added.
Max couldn’t play the part of The Queen of Pop any better. You could even say the dog is a natural at playing the Material Girl.

Max’s flowing locks show a shocking resemblance to the “True Blue” album cover, and he had no trouble “striking a pose” for the recreation of Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ video.

“He is my priority,” Vincent told Bored Panda. “Everything is like a game for him so yes, for example, if he needs a hat for a picture, I buy it weeks before and we play with it like if it’s one of his pet toys. And so, it’s ‘normal’ and fun for him when we shoot for real weeks later.”

To make these Maxdonna portraits even sweeter, Flouret donates all the money from the prints to Madonna’s own charity – Raising Malawi. Raising Malawi aims to make the lives of orphans and vulnerable children better in Malawi.

Madonna even posted one of the portraits to her Instagram account.

“Yes! She posted the ‘Like a Virgin’ cover on her Instagram,” Flouret told Bored Panda. “I was like a kid when I discovered it!”

Max definitely definitely knows how to “express himself,” and we hope that he continues to be a total “ray of light” for all.
