Age 3 Girl Moves Foot & Squeezes Hands of Family at Hospital After Being Shot in Head
Road rage is a serious problem. According to Safe Motorist, “66% of traffic fatalities are caused by aggressive driving.”
I think we’ve all had our moments when someone cuts us off or won’t let us merge. But a few words of frustration spoken inside your vehicle is much different from acting on your anger.
DMV.org defines “road rage” as “aggressive or violent behavior stemming from a driver’s uncontrolled anger at the actions of another motorist.”
Uncontrolled anger is the key here. Sadly, a case of road rage recently put a 3-year-old girl in critical condition.

Preslie Jean of Port St. Lucie, Florida, was in a truck with her brother and mother, Polly Davis, on Oct. 28 when a black vehicle believed to be a BMW stopped abruptly in front of them.
CBS 12 reported that the man driving Preslie Jean and her mom drove around the stopped vehicle. However, the sedan soon started chasing after them. A shot was fired through the rear, driver’s side door.
“We just need that one person who’s willing to talk to us.”@PSLPolice still looking for whoever shot 3yo Preslie Jean in the head last Sunday during a road rage.

The bullet reportedly went through the toddler’s head, shattering her skull, and landed on the floor of the truck. Preslie Jean was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, CBS 12 says.
She’s been in a medically induced coma, and her family has been by her bedside, wondering if their baby would ever wake up.
“My baby didn’t deserve this,” Davis said, according to WPBF. “Everybody’s kids are out there tonight celebrating Halloween… and my daughter’s laying in a hospital bed…”
But hope for this innocent life hasn’t died yet. On November 2, a miracle occurred. CBS 12 shared a video of Preslie Jean moving her little foot.
Later that day, she continued to improve, squeezing her family member’s hands. Still, Davis is worried her little girl won’t be the same when she wakes up.
“Is she going to remember us, is she going to know who we are…?” the frightened mother shared with CBS 12.
