Little Girl Pulls Candy from Own Bucket To Put in Empty Bowl on Stranger's Doorstep
While Halloween is over, the tricks and treats just keep coming. This is one sweet treat that stole the heart of one neighbor.
When a certain homeowner left out a bucket of candy for trick-or-treaters, they got a real surprise of the generous kind.
The homeowner, Tara Hetzer from Chandler, Arizona, wasn’t going to be home on Halloween, so she left a bowl of candy for the trick-or-treaters to help themselves to.
We all know how this typically plays out — one kid comes and cleans out the whole stash, ruining it for everyone.
But this time, things were a little different.
The Hetzers left a note instructing the trick-or-treaters to only take a few pieces of candy. In particular, the note read, “Please leave some for the next treater.”
While kids came and went from the house, one little girl clad in a Hocus Pocus costume read the note and took it to heart.
She realized it was her Halloween duty to make sure there was plenty of candy for the others.
Not once, but twice she reached deep into her bucket of candy that she had worked so hard to collect from the neighborhood.
She placed her own candy into the now empty bowl. She definitely made sure that there would be some candy for the “next treater” as the note instructed.
This generous, kind-hearted girl gave up her candy stash without any hesitation.
The whole act was caught on Hetzer’s security camera and really stole her heart.
Hetzer has been on the search for the little girl as she wants to treat her to something extra special.
This is one generous little girl who would rather help others then have a sweet treat of her own.
