Woman Leaves Hilarious Detailed Instructions for Boyfriend Taking Care of Her Cat
For pet parents, taking care of your fur babies is serious business. And when you leave them in another’s care?
Like any parent, you worry about how your pets will be taken care of. Will they be fed, groomed and loved just as if you hadn’t left?
A Reddit user shared a hilarious snapshot of the care instructions his girlfriend left for her cat when she went away on holiday.
“My girlfriend has gone away for a week and she left me with these list of ‘cat rules’ to abide by…” the post reads.
The rules are extremely detailed, down to the number of times the cat is to be fed and how often her bowl needs cleaning.
His girlfriend even made it clear that her cat “Tia” would be weighed before and after she returns to make sure she was fed properly.
Some of the instructions are too funny. You can almost hear the girlfriend’s voice, serious but with a good sense of humor at the same time.
“Give her NEW food in a CLEAN bowl,” one pointed rule reads. “You wouldn’t eat out of a dirty bowl, would you?”
That depends, of course, on who you’re asking. I’m sure there are plenty of us ladies who know a man or two who wouldn’t mind eating out of a dirty bowl, am I right?
“Sweep up her slops on mat from previous bowl. I do this for you too.”
Is this a lesson in cat care or a round-about way of letting this guy know he’s not the cleanest of the bunch? Either way, the result is side-splitting.
“Make sure her biscuits are filled up EACH DAY, for when you forget to feed her,” another rule reads.
The best rule by far is probably the one that demands the boyfriend make sure the cat comes in at night. “Remember your life is at stake,” it says.

If this guy really loves his girl, there’s no doubt this feline will receive extra special care while her owner is away.
And, if he doesn’t? Let’s just say we hope that doesn’t happen. We wouldn’t want this poor man to end up in the dog house should sweet Tia end up a few pounds lighter at the end of the holiday.
