Celebrities Tried To Sing Kelly Clarkson's 'Since U Been Gone' and They Could Not Compete
There’s never a dull moment on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” We all have our favorite late night entertainment, and Fallon’s show just so happens to be mine.
We’ve seen many a hilarious episode in which our favorite celebrities make us laugh and cry laughing until our sides hurt.
“The Voice” judge and singing sensation Kelly Clarkson has appeared on more than one occasion. From small-town girl to major star, we have loved watching this woman work her way to the top.
She first made her debut on “The Tonight Show” in 2002 after winning “American Idol.” Jay Leno was still the host at that time.
The best part of her interview with Leno is when the camera angle changes and we see Jimmy Fallon sitting beside Clarkson.
Who knew these two would be on this stage together again, with Fallon as the host and Clarkson so much more out of her shell?
Remember their duet together? They start off with Sonny and Cher and close it out with “Endless Love.” These two are unstoppable!
Clarkson is well known for her musical stylings to be sure, and perhaps one of her most popular songs over the years has remained the hit “Since U Been Gone.”
The song has been heard in films such as “Pitch Perfect” and won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2005 Grammy Awards.
Back in 2017, Clarkson performed “Since U Been Gone” backward as Fallon cheered her on in the background.
Now Clarkson has returned, but this time she’s not singing alone. In a hilarious video, a number of celebrities, including Fallon himself, joined Clarkson.
Their attempts to hit her high notes are too much! Take a look at this stellar ensemble. This may just become a new classic. With close to 500K views at this point, we don’t doubt it’s already a favorite for some.
Shaq with his serious expression might just be the best part. Then again, Meghan Trainor, Mumford & Sons and Fallon all steal the spotlight at one point.
Which celeb do you think did this one best? Our vote goes with Clarkson, but we wouldn’t mind seeing these stars appear in other musical videos in the future. This made our day!
