Fit Dad Lets Toddler Pick His Own Meals for the Day and Eats Whatever He Does

Share

Building a successful YouTube channel takes a lot of work, but for those who do it well, subscribers return time and time again for entertaining, relatable content.

Matt Morsia of MattDoesFitness has over 500,000 followers! He shares videos about fitness, diet and life with his family.

How does he do it? What brings viewers back week after week to watch this bodybuilder talk about how many calories he puts away in a day?

We have a feeling his adorable son Luca just might have something to do with it. While it may be his dad’s channel, there’s no doubt that Luca is often the star of the show.

The dad and son duo can be found in matching outfits on Instagram. Wife and mother, Sarah Morsia, shows up from time to time, too.

Could you eat like a toddler for one day?

They’re a sweet family and the videos Morsia posts are hilarious. One video in particular regarding Luca’s diet might just be our favorite.

The title of the video, “I ate my son’s diet for a day,” says it all. Just to give you a little background, Morsia’s channel description on YouTube says, “My name is Matt and I do fitness. I also eat quite a lot.”

So imagine a bodybuilder who eats “quite a lot” suddenly taking his calories down to that of a young boy’s. To say the fitness dad grew hungry is an understatement.

Watch as he allows Luca to choose what (and how much) they eat at each meal. The disappointment on Morsia’s face when his son chose a second helping of his cardboardy morning cereal is priceless.

You can view the full, 18-minute-long video on Morsia’s YouTube channel.

To watch Luca (and his dad) have even more fun together, catch them on their channel.

Could you eat like a toddler for a day? Or would you break down and order a giant burger like Morsia did in the end?
