Even a New Liberal Report Destroys BLM Narrative on Police Shootings

Share

A new report by The Washington Post disproves the Black Lives Matter group’s lie that police only fatally shoot unarmed black men.

That report by The Washington Post is based on a project that tracks every fatal shooting in the United States.

The report found that police fatally shot 987 people in 2017.

Of those 987 people, only 68 people were unarmed. 735 of those people killed by police were armed with either a knife or gun.

That is 88 percent of all people killed in officer involved shootings.

Furthermore, those killed in officer involved shootings had nothing to do with race.

“White males continued to account for the largest group of people killed while armed with guns or knives, at 330 of those killed,” the report states.

“Black males accounted for 22 percent of all people shot and killed in 2017,” it explained, while white males account for double that number.

In fact, 44 percent of all fatal police shootings involved white males.

The Washington Post isn’t the first liberal media organization to crush the Black Lives Matter narrative.

In a September 2017 report, The New York Post explained that Black Lives Matter activists have their statistics all wrong.

“Contrary to the Black Lives Matter narrative, the police have much more to fear from black males than black males have to fear from the police,” the Post reported.

“In 2015, a police officer was 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male was to be killed by a police officer,” they continued.

It is shocking that a liberal news source would destroy the Black Lives Matter narrative in favor of the truth, but people still seem to ignore the facts.

Instead, they are sucked into the sensational message that police target unarmed black men, which of course, is not true.

Numbers do not lie, but of course, don’t expect Black Lives Matter to comment on this report.
