Disgusting: Maxine Waters Attends Convention Showing Sick Ties to Suicide Bombers

Share

In the wake of Donald Trump’s ascendancy to the highest office in the lan, Rep. Maxine Waters of California has become one of the new darlings of the Democrat Party.

Part of that popularity comes from the fact that the California congresswoman has been willing to say some of the most outrageous things about the president and Republicans in general, all while coining hip catchphrases like “reclaiming my time.”

However, Maxine’s outrageousness is due, in part, to the fact that she’s insanely far left, with the emphasis on insanely. And with her newly found fame among a younger set of liberals, that insanity is catching up to her.

According to recently uncovered video archived by C-SPAN, Waters was in attendance at a 2002 Nation of Islam convention in which its notorious leader, Louis Farrakhan, praised Palestinian suicide bombers who were then in the midst of the Second Intifada. And drew an implicit tie between the suicide bombers and his own organization.

The speech was in Inglewood, California, which is part of Waters’ district.

“We have Maxine Waters here,” Farrakhan told the audience, according to The Daily Caller, “our great congresswoman from this area.”

Farrakhan, who’s known for his anti-Semitic viewpoints, then criticized the United States for supporting Israel militarily during the spate of suicide bombings aimed against its citizens by the Palestinians.

“The Palestinians have nothing to defend themselves with, so they’re so exhausted and exasperated. Think about that, strapping bombs to themselves, making themselves a weapon,” Farrakhan said.

Do you think Maxine Waters should resign over her attendance at Farrakhan's hate speech?
“And then for the world to get upset because Iran or somebody is trying to send them some weapons. Wait a minute. If you were Jewish and you saw unarmed Jews being persecuted, wouldn’t you come to your brothers’ aid?

“Do you expect Muslims to see their brothers suffering like that and not come to their aid?”

It isn’t exactly about America supporting the Jewish state against Muslims, particularly coming from a man who’s called the Jews “satanic.” Here are a few of Farrakhan’s more dubious statements involving America and the Jewish people:

  • “America is in trouble, and I say God is about to wipe this nation from the face of the Earth. I’m not crazy, I’m not drunk. How long do you think a nation can do evil and not face the wrath of god?”
  • “(Jewish people) are wicked deceivers of the American people. You have sucked their blood.”
  • “The Jews don’t like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man.”
  • “My god will wipe this country (America) from the face of the earth.”
  • “The Mother Wheel is a heavily armed spaceship the size of a city, which will rain destruction upon white America but save those who embrace the Nation of Islam.”

Let’s point out that while all of those statements might not have occurred before Waters came to be an honored guest of Farrakhan, his anti-Semitic and anti-American nonsense was well-known before then.

People who talk about how the Mother Wheel, their heavily armed spaceship, is going to destroy only white Americans aren’t necessarily people who start saying that stuff after a few decades in the spotlight.

Will the re-emergence of this video sink Waters’ career? It depends on what you think of Democrats.

Do you think they’ll disown one of their newly re-minted stars because she stuck around during a speech in which Louis Farrakhan defended suicide bombers? I mean, the revelation she hung around with Farrakhan to begin with should be enough to cause howls of outrage from “tolerant” Democrats.

They’d never want to be associated with a person like, right?

Don’t be so sure.
