Gingrich Reveals Truth Behind Trump's Potential 2020 Re-Election
If you believe the mainstream media, President Donald Trump will almost certainly lose his 2020 re-election bid, if he makes it that far without being impeached or forced to resign.
Many of Trump’s supporters, however, hold a decidedly different view on his chances of holding the White House in 2020. Top among them is former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.
In an appearance Thursday night with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity, Gingrich argued that the nation is embroiled in a “cultural civil war” in which the elite leftist media are losing and Trump is increasingly winning.
This, despite the media’s best efforts at detracting from and diminishing the accomplishments of Trump’s administration.

“You see more jobs every month. More investment every month. You see Trump doing what he promised he would do. You see him standing up for America,” the former speaker said.
“And your choice is left-wingers who thinks it’s OK to have thousands of people cross the border versus protecting America.
“You know, inch by inch, Trump is actually organizing exactly like Andrew Jackson a majority that I think will get him re-elected, and that will actually be decisive in changing America’s future,” Gingrich added.
Later in the segment Hannity referenced an op-ed Gingrich recently published with Fox News that expanded upon his comments.
The article pointed out that in spite of the constant negative coverage from the media, Trump’s approval rating continues to rise, slowly but surely.
Meanwhile, the media and leftist politicians are becoming increasingly desperate and frantic in their attempts to denigrate Trump and smear his administration as one of chaos, failure and scandal.
But Gingrich pointed out that even the anti-Trump CNN saw in its most recent poll that Trump’s approval rating has climbed significantly, even among segments of the population typically presumed to be dead-set against the president, such as young voters and college graduates.
He further noted that the Rasmussen daily tracking poll had Trump in the high 40s percentage-wise — even broaching 50 percent on Monday and Wednesday — which placed him higher than former President Barack Obama in terms of approval rating at the same point in his presidency.
Gingrich suggested that the relentless negative coverage of Trump by the media may have actually resulted in the unintended consequence of vaccinating the American public against their opposition.
Meanwhile, the good things Trump and his administration have accomplished are shining through that negative coverage — thanks in part to Trump’s Twitter, alternative and conservative media outlets, and the obvious overplaying of the liberal media’s hand.
A lot could change between now and 2020, but as things stand, the Democrat-aligned media is losing and Trump is in a solid position to continue his charge toward re-election.
