Watch: Debris Falls from Restaurant Ceiling. Suddenly Woman Crashes to Floor.
Police in California say a woman who appeared to be homeless and on drugs was treated for minor injuries after falling through the ceiling of a local Mexican restaurant last week, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The whole incident was caught on camera.
According to the restaurant, the woman asked to use the restroom and a line began to form when she didn’t return.
A short while later, she fell through the ceiling.
The restaurant said the woman used a false panel to access the ceiling, although she does not recall how she ended up there. Thankfully, no one else in the establishment was hurt.
If she was on drugs, that explains how she ended up there, but not why. For all we know, she could have been trying to get to Narnia. Whatever the case, crashing through the ceiling probably wasn’t on her agenda that day.
Drug abuse affects every part of the nation. In the South, you’re likely to see signs of meth in poorer areas. ‘Cooking’ trailers, air conditioning units on roofs, and houses stripped of copper wire are all indicators of the moral and economic decay illegal drugs can cause.
The solution?
Freedom, of course.
Freedom doesn’t come without consequence, however. A truly free person must also be in control of their mind and body. Many disregard this, and in their freedom find themselves a slave to drugs.
The old saying “the freer the market, the freer the people” holds true with those very same drugs as well.
The free market doesn’t just lower prices. It can literally lower crime rates as well.
After the legalization of medical marijuana, a study found that violent crime plummeted by an average of 13 percent. It’s not hard to see why when you look at the bigger picture.
Mexican cartels are responsible for a large portion of drugs in our country. They don’t throw bales of marijuana over the border to ruin our country — they do it to make a profit. With legal grow operations and accessible dispensaries, the cartels’ cash flow is in jeopardy.
That must have hit them like a 15-foot fall from a Mexican restaurant’s ceiling.
Capitalism wins again.
