Greg Gutfeld Calls Claire McCaskill a 'Lying Idiot' over Misleading Image Post

Share

Fox News commentator Greg Gutfeld slammed Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri as a “lying idiot” for suggesting that “The Five” ignored the news surrounding Michael Cohen’s guilty plea.

After the Cohen news broke Thursday, McCaskill took photos of coverage by CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.

However, she took a photo during the last segment of “The Five,” after its panelists had already covered the story about the President Donald Trump’s former lawyer.

“This is 6 pm eastern on the three major cable news networks,” McCaskill tweeted. “You just can’t make this up. Seriously.”

Later, she accused Fox News of “ignoring serious breaking news” and called the news channel “disgraceful.”

Do you think Claire McCaskill is a liar?

McCaskill clearly didn’t actually watch the entire program because the co-hosts did talk about Cohen’s guilty plea and special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation earlier in the show. (Check out the transcript here,)

During Friday’s segment of “The Five,” Gutfeld slammed McCaskill for being a “lying idiot.”

“She tweeted three segments from CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, showing coverage, of I guess, of the Mueller probe, and they showed ‘animals are great,’ with the idea that that’s what we were covering,” Gutfeld said on a video published by Mediaite. “Instead, the fact that we led the show yesterday on the Mueller probe, and that Claire McCaskill is, in fact, a lying idiot.”

Gutfeld also blasted McCaskill on Twitter.

And others on Twitter took notice:

I suppose McCaskill wanted every single minute of air time being dedicated to the Russian conspiracy theory — despite there still being no public evidence of collusion between the Donald Trump presidential campaign and Russia.

On Thursday, Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress when he said President Donald Trump stopped pursuing plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow after January 2016. Cohen admitted that the plans kept going until June 2016.

Democrats like McCaskill desperately want this news to have more impact than it actually does. In reality, there is still no evidence of collusion.

Trump slammed the “witch hunt” against him on Twitter by quoting Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett, who bluntly discredited the left’s collusion narrative.

Despite the left’s hysteria surrounding Cohen’s guilty plea, “The Five” covered the story and gave it the time it deserved.

Democrats like McCaskill have no problem misrepresenting information and outright lying to push their agenda.
