Did Classless Michelle Just Use Internet Slang To Disrespect the Presidency?
Former first lady Michelle Obama is currently enjoying highly-publicized interviews and praise from her adoring fans in the media while promoting her new memoir “Becoming.”
In the book, Obama targets President Donald Trump, writing in part, “Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him.”
Her shots at the president haven’t been confined to her book, however.
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday, the former first lady summarized the feelings she had toward Trump on Inauguration Day.
“Bye, Felicia,” Obama said.
The phrase is from the 1995 film “Friday,” but became popular internet slang a few years ago and is an expression used to rudely dismiss someone.

The audience ate it up, breaking out in laughter and applause. Fallon doubled over in laughter at Obama’s quip and the show’s band executed a musical riff.
“Is that what was going through your mind?” Fallon asked.
“A lot was going on that day,” she complained. “That was a day.”
Obama also took a shot at Melania Trump.
“Then the Tiffany’s box,” she whined.
Melania gave Obama a Tiffany’s gift box outside the White House. Obama later explained on the “The Ellen Show” that the timing of the gift was not “protocol.”

Geeez have some grace! Do you think you would ever hear something like that from Laura Bush or Nancy Reagan?

I love when they go live off script and show their true selves! The media will rally around her and somehow justify her despicable actions!

Whatever happened to Obama’s professed motto, “When they go low, we go high?”
Instead, she’s using mockery of the Trumps and the presidency to sell books and fill stadiums, all with the help of an adoring liberal crowd.
And sure, Obama’s Hollywood fan club will eat up petty one-liners. To the rest of us, however, it just comes across as petty and bitter.
