Leftists Rage After Rev. Graham Tells Unvarnished Truth About Homosexuality & Mayor Pete
When it comes to being hypocrites while attacking conservatives and Christians, the alarmists and drama queens of the left evidently have neither shame nor boundaries.
And their reaction to a statement by the Rev. Franklin Graham on Wednesday regarding Pete Buttigieg — the openly gay mayor of South Bend, Indiana, who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination — only proves the point.
In a Twitter post, Graham simply referred to the Bible when asserting via Twitter that homosexuals should “be repentant.” He didn’t say Buttigieg specifically ought to repent for his homosexuality.
Mayor Buttigieg says he’s a gay Christian. As a Christian I believe the Bible which defines homosexuality as sin, something to be repentant of, not something to be flaunted, praised or politicized. The Bible says marriage is between a man & a woman—not two men, not two women. 2/3

Graham’s tweet was sparked by a response Buttigieg gave when asked at a town hall Monday about how he could “unite conservatives, moderates and liberal Christians,” according to CNN.
The left’s current flavor of the month, “Mayor Pete” responded with what amounted to a corny sound bite.

So, how did anti-Christian leftists and the liberal media such as ABC and The Daily Beast media react to Graham’s social media post?
By doing one thing they do best: Misquoting Graham. Numerous publications claimed Graham said Buttigieg should “repent.”
That’s a distinction with a difference. From the media treatment, it sounded as though Graham were personally demanding Buttigieg “repent.”
What the evangelist was doing was explaining what the Bible says about homosexual behavior, and declaring that it is something to be “repentant of.”
Evidently, Rev. Graham is all but forbidden — in the eyes of leftists, progressives and radicals — to quote the Bible, the most popular book of all time.
Then again, when clearly anti-America Democrats such as Ilhan Omar get elected, flagrant insults about our values should come as no surprise.
To his credit, Graham has demonstrated conviction and resolve on social media, reiterating a point he knows a little something about.
The core of the Christian faith is believing and following Jesus Christ, who God sent to be the Savior of the world—to save us from sin, to save us from hell, to save us from eternal damnation. 3/3

However, according to the Charlotte Observer (another publication that misquoted Graham), Buttigieg believes “different people see different things” in the good book.
Alas, that’s the current political and religious climate in the United States.
Members of the Democratic party, the far left and progressives bend the facts, paraphrase quotes and publish them in a misleading manner — all to continue leading their sheep-like followers who despise President Donald Trump to such a degree that they’ll say and believe anything.
Need more proof? Despite the Mueller report concluding there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters — who has become a caricature of herself — keeps demanding that Trump be impeached. She is fiddling while her state of California burns, according to The Atlantic.
Whatever his merits, Buttigieg, Navy veteran and presidential hopeful who looks like a paperboy, is in no position to get into a religious or spiritual debate with the esteemed Rev. Graham and classy, conservative Vice President Mike Pence.
Mayor Pete can’t punch his own weight in the 2020 ring, but that won’t stop him from taking swings. That is the Democrats’ strategy: Claim or tweet whatever you want, while misquoting and disrespecting others in the process.
