Moments After Abortion, Lady Tells Babies She Just Killed: Thanks for Choosing Me but No

Share

A video is going viral after it depicted a mother of twins swallowing a single RU-486 and then speaking to her babies that she just killed.

Whatever you do, don’t click away till you watch the clip.

The video, a short excerpt of a PBS documentary, began spreading across the internet after pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha shared it on her Twitter timeline.

Although difficult to watch, the video exposes the heartbreaking reality behind the anti-life movement.

Ekeocha’s introduction in her tweet accurately prepares viewers for the sobering imagery they are about to see and hear. “This PBS documentary airbrushes abortion to make it look like some healthy new age practice,” Ekeocha said. “The women in blue is pregnant with twins and she is filmed here taking the abortion pill to kill them. You witness their killing ? And her statement at the end is chilling.”

And chilling it is.

Let me break down what you just saw.

First, you hear the doctor say, with great enthusiasm, that RU-486 is a “great procedure.”

We hear the doctor tell her, “This is the stuff that makes the pregnancy stop growing.”

Then the doctor hands the little pills of death to the patient. And we see her — with no visible recognition of the gravity of the moment — take the prescribed death sentence into her mouth.

The doctor then explains to viewers that the patient will take another pill 24 hours later that will help push the “pregnancy tissue” out of her uterus.

But the most difficult part to watch — the most heartrending section by far — is the mother explaining her mindset.

“What I hope I feel is a sense of peace, not only with myself and the decision that I’ve made, but also a sense of peace with these two beings that I’ve chosen to not bring into the world,” the patient said. The mother clearly acknowledged that they are beings. And then acknowledged it was her choice that ended their existence.

But she concludes with the most sickening and shocking statement I’ve ever seen on abortion.

She actually speaks to the “beings” she is murdering by thanking them: “Thank you for choosing me, and I’m honored to be given this gift of life.”

But then, as casually as swallowing a little pill, she told her soon-to-be dead babies, “I can’t do it right now. I can’t accept that mantle in terms of the other lives that I’m taking care of and that I’m responsible for.”

My heart truly breaks for her. My heart breaks that she sees life as so invaluable that she can speak to the beings she kills with such a twisted words and emotion.

That she can justify the killing of her twins as a pure cost-benefit analysis — “I can’t do it right now” — is proof of a greater problem.

Until we see life as the ultimate gift and creation of an all-powerful, all-knowing God, then we give ourselves the option of seeing it as something that is our right to eliminate when it is inconvenient.
