'Where Is Your Apology?': Angry Pro-Immigrant Protester Confronts Biden on Streets of Detroit

Share

As if former Vice President Joe Biden didn’t get berated enough during Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate, now he’s feeling the heat on public streets too.

While the Democrats’ 2020 presidential front-runner’s vehicle was at a stoplight Thursday in Detroit, TheBlaze reported, a protester — sign in hand — yelled, “Three million deportations!”

The angry woman also shouted, “We don’t need your big answers! We need better candidates! Where is your apology? Where is your apology?” according to TheBlaze.

Ed O’Keefe of CBS News shared footage of the confrontation via Twitter.

The activist was referring to the number of illegal immigrants deported under the Obama administration.

If Biden, safely seated within the tinted-window confines of his SUV, was taken aback by the incident, he shouldn’t have been.

After all, fellow candidates on Wednesday night’s debate stage attacked the 76-year-old about the same subject. Biden’s shallow response to his fellow hopefuls left much to be desired, so perhaps registered voters now feel empowered to voice their concerns with him face to face, even through a car window.

Are leftists going too far with their protests and confrontations?

More to the point, let’s not forget when California Rep. Maxine Waters, the human megaphone, encouraged supporters last year to harass and confront Republicans.

“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them!” Waters could be heard and seen shouting, probably for miles.

The only unexpected aspect of Biden being confronted in public is the fact he’s a Democrat, despite the fact Waters had challenged leftists to pursue and intimidate conservatives.

Thursday’s footage showing the Democrats’ best hope for 2020 being approached and scolded by an angry protester is proof that such altercations will continue.

The likes of Sarah Sanders, Mitch McConnell and Kirstjen Nielsen have endured similar incidents in public.

The woman who confronted Biden in traffic sought an apology.

But I’m still waiting for Waters to express remorse, since she lit the fuse that ignited such explosive behavior.
