The Left-Wing Media Is Calling Out Warren and Harris for Lies About Michael Brown's Death in Ferguson
When a Democrat’s lie is so egregious that even uber-left Vox Media has called them out, it’s got to be a monster fabrication.
Take, for example, the blatant untruths told last week by presidential hopefuls Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris.
The two senators both tweeted special messages to remember the events that took place in Ferguson, Missouri, five years ago.
And by special, I mean they told some big, fat, pandering lies.
When Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, protesters and activists claimed he was innocent of any wrongdoing and that the killing was a racially motivated murder. Subsequent investigations by President Barack Obama’s DOJ proved both claims to be false.
“5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri,” Sen. Warren tweeted.
Except that he wasn’t.
I guess getting paid over $400,000 to teach law at Harvard doesn’t mean Warren can be expected to tell the truth about law and justice.
Maybe the brilliant legal mind of former prosecutor Kamala Harris could get it right.
“Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America,” Sen. Harris tweeted.
Zero for 2.
5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on.

Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America. His tragic death sparked a desperately needed conversation and a nationwide movement. We must fight for stronger accountability and racial equity in our justice system.

Nice job, Democrats.
You could probably hear the face-palming across the nation after those inaccurate, desperate tweets were posted.
The sentiment was so strong and lies so obvious that Vox ran an article diplomatically titled, “Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris’s controversial Michael Brown tweets, explained.”
(Can you imagine the media running a headline claiming to “explain” a Donald Trump tweet? Yeah, me neither.)
“The tweets claimed a police officer ‘murdered’ Michael Brown,” Vox wrote. “But that’s not what investigators, including those from the Obama administration, concluded.”
“[T]he evidence, including a report released by President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice, says otherwise,” Vox added.
“The Justice Department’s 2015 report contradicted many of the protesters’ claims, finding that Wilson likely did have reason to fear for his life and didn’t violate the law in shooting Brown,” Vox explained. “The Warren and Harris campaigns did not return requests for comment.”
Of course they didn’t.
To be clear, federal inquiries into Ferguson law enforcement found many problematic practices.
But those were relevant to Brown’s death.
You know things are bad…when even Vox is saying Warren and Harris lied about Ferguson. https://t.co/MPHZXkVjT8 via @voxdotcom

“This wasn’t a murder or a federal civil rights violation, based on the evidence we have,” Vox wrote.
This is interesting, even Vox is calling bullshit on Warren and Harris’s Michael Brown tweets https://t.co/yublfZrBaE

“This is interesting, even Vox is calling bulls— on Warren and Harris’s Michael Brown tweets,” wrote Geoffrey Ingersoll, editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller.
And that’s exactly what Vox should have done.
Because both tweets were exactly that: complete and utter bunk.
