The Numbers Are In: America LOVES Trump's Economy
Americans may be divided when it comes to their political parties or views on immigration, but most Americans agree on one thing: they love President Donald Trump’s soaring economy.
According to RealClear Politics, 50.9 percent of Americans applaud how President Trump is growing the economy.
That’s more than half of Americans, regardless of political party.
Some polls, such as The Economist, Reuters and Harvard gave the president a 52 or 54 percent approval rating when it comes to the economy, and we can’t say we’re surprised.
According to The New York Times, there has been more than a 40 percent increase in the Dow Jones industrial average since Trump’s election.
That’s $7 trillion in growth.
“Every one of the 55 million Americans with a 401(k) plan, the 20 million with IRAs and the millions more with public and private pension plans have benefited,” NYT writer Stephen Moore said.
Public Opinion Strategies’ Micah Roberts, explained why the economy is booming. “We’re not measuring a marginal change in the economy, we’re measuring a different economy.”
“2017 is the year that Americans finally put the recession behind them in terms of their attitudes about the economy, and it took a change in leadership to make it happen,” Roberts continued, according to CNBC.
Most Americans care more about the economy’s effect on their wallet than the uptick of the stock market.
Blue collar manufacturing jobs have risen by more than half a million since Trump took office.
The president has brought millions of jobs back to America from overseas, making good on his “America First” promises.
And let’s not forget President Trump’s tax cut. Thousands of lower to mid earning employees around the nation are seeing bonuses, higher wages and bigger tax breaks thanks to the legislation.
And who doesn’t love a good raise? That’s something all Americans can agree on.
Slowly but surely, Trump is uniting Americans and building an amazing economy, just like he promised.
