Applebee's Aims to Serve 1 Million Heroes With Incredible Veterans Day Deal

Share

Veterans Day is just short week away and should not go unobserved by anyone who appreciates a free America. It’s because of those brave men and women who served or are still serving that we enjoy the freedom and independence we all cherish.

So, with that being said, let’s also throw out some kudos to the free-market establishments across the country who beat us to the punch in recognizing the sacrifices our vets and currently serving military personnel made for us.

Applebee’s and many, many other wonderful restaurants across the country are thanking our military by offering them a free meal.

If you are a veteran and wish to celebrate your own service to the country, why not take them up on a dinner at any one of the Applebee’s locations across the country? They want to honor you on Veterans Day.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, veterans can choose from a limited menu at any Applebee’s as the restaurant chain promotes #MillionMealsForHeroes.

“On Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11th, Applebee’s is on a mission to serve one million meals to neighborhood military heroes. For the 11th year, all veterans and active duty military are invited to visit their local Applebee’s on Veterans Day to enjoy a free, full-size entrée from a selection of eight fan favorites,” reads the Applebee’s website.

Applebee’s isn’t the only national chain honoring our vets and active duty military.

The website Military Benefits lists a whole host of restaurants that are stepping up, like Applebee’s, to thank a vet on Veteran’s Day.

Now through Sunday, Shane’s Rib Shack Restaurants, mainly in Georgia but other southeastern states, are offering military personal, past and present on:at participating locations  “a complimentary sandwich, regular side, and 20-oz. beverage; offer valid November 8th through November 10th only. Military ID or proof of service is required.”

According to Food News Feed Red Lobster is providing free appetizers and and desserts for all veterans on November 11.

“In honor of Veterans Day, Red Lobster will be offering a free appetizer or dessert to veterans, active-duty military and reservists with a valid military ID on Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12,” reported Food News Feed.

“Sweet Chili Shrimp, Mozzarella Cheesesticks, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Seafood-Stuffed, Mushrooms, Lobster and Langostino Pizza, Signature Shrimp Cocktail, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Key, Lime Pie, Warm Apple Crostada, Chocolate Wave and Brownie Overboard” are some of the items from which you can choose.

Buffalo Wild Wings, California Pizza Kitchen and Chevy’s Fresh Mex are only a few of the many grateful eating establishments who are offering their thanks to veterans across the nation.

And on Monday, Golden Corral restaurants will be hosting their annual “free dinner” for veterans — an event that has become a tradition for many in the past 17 years.

Twitter is actually a great resource to find Veterans Day deals too.

It’s impossible for this country to express how much it appreciates its veterans contributions to its freedom, but a good meal is a great start.
