Ayesha Curry calls out Rockets fan for hitting her pregnant belly after Game 5
It was a strange scene after the Rockets’ Game 5 win over the Warriors on Thursday night in Houston as a fan approached the pregnant wife of Warriors guard Steph Curry and started talking trash.
He also allegedly “bumped” her in her belly.
“Ayesha!” the fan in the video said. “We’re going to beat y’all at home [in Game 6 on Saturday]. Sorry, it’s Houston time. It’s Houston time.”
Curry seemed to smile it off, but the fan continued.

“Look at her,” he said. “She’s all bitter and sour. She’s all bitter and sour. Look at her. She’s being all rude.”
After Steph’s father, former NBA star Dell Curry, gave the heckler a look, he said, “Look at Papa Curry, he’s all butt hurt, too.”
Ayesha approached the man as the video shut off.
The next day, after someone posted the video on Twitter, Ayesha responded that he had “bumped me in my 8 month pregnant belly.”
“The fact that you have the audacity to post this after this man bumped me in my 8 month pregnant belly asking and I quote ‘doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?’ And continued to follow me and taunt me with his camera is beyond me…but ‘This is America’ right,” she wrote.
She said the incident she described happened before the video was rolling.

The fan involved in the incident said he never touched her belly.

The man also apologized for his smack talk, saying he didn’t know she was pregnant.
There was no word whether Houston police were investigating the incident.
In the game Saturday night, the Warriors, after trailing by 17 in the first quarter and by 7 at half, got rolling in the second half Saturday night at Oracle Arena and beat the Rockets 115-86 to knot the series at 3-3.
Klay Thompson led the way with 35 points while Curry had 29. James Harden paced Houston with 32 points.
Game 7 is Monday night in Houston.
