Carson Wentz gets even better news 2 days after Super Bowl win - 'God is doing amazing things'
Two days after becoming a Super Bowl champion, Carson Wentz revealed that he gave away a ring.
The Fed-Ex Air Player of the Year announced on social media Tuesday that he had proposed to his girlfriend, Maddie Oberg.
“She said YES!” he posted.

The second-year player had quite a roller coaster of a season.
Wentz was considered a favorite to win the MVP award as he led Philadelphia to a 10-2 record through 13 games.
But misfortune struck in the Eagles’ victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14 when he suffered a torn ACL and LCL.
The injury would end Wentz’s season, leaving the offense to backup Nick Foles.
An obstacle that many see as negative, Wentz used for good, using his platform to encourage his teammates and fans.
Throughout his recovery, Oberg was by his side every step of the way.

Wentz threw for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns before his season was cut short.
The North Dakota State alumnus is now two months into his rehab.
Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith took to Twitter to highlight Wentz’s attitude throughout his recovery.

“This pic sums up why our team was successful,” Smith wrote.
“We wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for him [Wentz]. Future MVP and 2x SB Champ,” he added.
Congrats to Carson Wentz on the championship and the engagement.
