Chick-fil-A Employee Stops Working To Help Feed Disabled Customer

Share

Just when we think Chick-fil-A has surpassed our expectations, another employee of this company shows compassion in the most amazing way.

The company prides itself on above-and-beyond service with a smile and a “my pleasure” for all who enter their establishments.

We’ve seen story after story in which this company and those associated with it choose to go out of their way to love others.

Yet another Chick-fil-A employee has been caught in the kindness act when a Corpus Christi, Texas, woman witnessed a heartwarming moment.

Jessica Gomez was at the La Palmera Mall food court when she looked over and saw something so touching, she had to snap a photo.

“While eating at the mall with my family I saw this lovely girl help this man out,” she wrote on Facebook where she shared the photo.

“I’ve seen this man several times here by himself,” Gomez went on. “This employee sat with him and fed him his food. She went above and beyond.”

Take a look at this sweet scene. The employee didn’t have to go the extra mile. But this, it seems, is what working at Chick-fil-A is all about.

“The times I’ve been here everyone just leaves him,” Gomez shared. “She cut his food into pieces and went back several times to get him whatever he needed. May God bless this woman.”

The story is on its way to going viral, with many people commenting about seeing this sweet man — Arturo — around town.

“Awww, he’s a very sweet man. He would always go into Greenwood Walmart and just wanna talk to whoever had time to talk,” one person noted.

“Aw, Arturo!!! He’s such a sweet person. Loves to talk and meet new people,” another person wrote. “…He loves to be out and about just enjoying the day and all the blessings in life.”

Now Gomez hopes to find out who this young woman is in order to thank her and give her recognition. Some commenters have tagged the Chick-fil-A corporate page as well as Ellen DeGeneres.

“You don’t see that too often, an employee actually staying with a customer, feeding them… and keeping them company. It’s not very often that you see that anymore,” Gomez told KIIITV.

We hope this sweet employee knows what an impact her simple act has made. We need more people like her and are thankful for yet another reason to love Chick-fil-A!
