Watch: Chris Pratt Does What No Other Celeb Can, Has Kids on TV Cheering for God

Famous actor Chris Pratt was awarded the “Choice Summer Movie Actor” at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, according to CNN.

Pratt was proud to give the glory to God while standing in front of a large crowd of teenagers at the ceremony.

“I want to thank God,” he said. “I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces.”

“I say I love God. That’s my thing,” he continued. “I love Him. And you should too.”

The crowd of teenagers responded to Pratt’s public acknowledgement of God by continuing to whistle and cheer.

This is not the first time that Pratt has utilized his fame to share his love for Christ with teenagers. In June at the 2018 MTV Movie and TV awards Pratt was awarded the “Generation Award,” where he made similar comments.

“God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you,” Pratt said after receiving his award. “Believe that; I do.”

Do you think it is biblical for Pratt to thank God on stage?

He also shared the importance of biblical principles, such as praying and taking care of the soul.

Pratt has publicly shared his faith and love for God not only on the stage when receiving awards, but also in his social media accounts. Many of Pratt’s recent tweets include Bible references and other statements about faith and Christian living.

That means that Pratt’s more than 6 million followers are being exposed to biblical truth through his Twitter feed.

Pratt appears to take the Gospel of Matthew seriously when Jesus said, “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33)

Pratt is an encouraging example for Christians everywhere. The “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” actor is not afraid to take a stand and witness to a crowd of teenagers, or his whole Twitter following.

Chris Pratt stands out among his peers. Too few Hollywood celebrities model how we should live Christian lives. First, God deserves the glory for all that we do. Second, we can learn to imitate his boldness to share Christ, even on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans.
