Cowboys star rips into NFL fans, immediately regrets it
Dez Bryant’s future in Dallas is anything but certain.
While the injury-plagued receiver made it through 16 games last season, he also averaged a career-low 12.1 yards per catch.
Midway through the 2018 campaign, Bryant hits the big 3-0, not necessarily a death knell for receivers, but not a great age for people who make a living with their speed.
Oh, and he’s due to make $12.5 million next year, with a cap hit of $16.5 million.
So a return to Big D is not a done deal.
That made Tuesday’s Instagram post by Dez all the more intriguing.
Now that sure looks like a goodbye, doesn’t it?
At least that was the prevailing opinion on social media.
Bryant, never one to be shy with words, blasted back a response to those who shared those thoughts on Twitter.
The good news for fans of the mercurial wideout is that he apparently can still backpedal, as he quickly deleted that tweet, and replaced it with this one.
The irony is that this whole tweet-untweet incident happened two days after Jerry Jones said he wants Bryant back with the Cowboys next season.
Jerry Jones spoke at length about Dez Bryant's future with the #DallasCowboys.

As we all know, what Jerry wants, Jerry usually gets (unless your name is Roger Goodell).
As we also know, nothing is ever certain when it comes to the Cowboys. Stay tuned.
