Elderly Couple Has No Idea Webcam Is Recording, Makes Adorably Cute Video by Mistake

Share

New technology can be daunting. I still remember when I made the switch from a flip phone to a smartphone — a learning curve was definitely present.

No matter your age, learning anything unfamiliar certainly presents a challenge. For Bruce and Esther Huffman, their challenge came in the form of a webcam.

You may have heard of this elderly couple already. They became instant internet sensations in 2011 when an unintentional video of them went viral.

The pair recorded their webcam learning woes on accident, according to Good Morning America. Esther couldn’t remember everything her granddaughter had taught her about using the device.

The result was 2 minutes and 55 seconds of hilarity. The original video, which was posted to YouTube by their granddaughter, has been viewed millions of times over the years.

If you’re the odd one out, this will be a treat! Watch as this husband and wife attempt to figure out how to take a snapshot with the webcam.

I’m not laughing, you’re laughing! I think my favorite part is when Bruce starts singing to the camera. Or perhaps it’s when he yawns! I just can’t decide!

This single video spurred the couple to make other videos (on purpose) together. Now they’re known as “The Happy Huffmans.”

A 2017 video captured the pair dancing to the YMCA. Another video featured the pair giggling and singing, decked out in Santa hats for Bruce’s 93rd birthday.

There’s no doubt about it, the Huffmans truly are a happy duo. If they’re not accidentally making videos, they’re sharing their joy for all to hear.

Have you ever seen two grandparents more in love than Bruce and Esther? I don’t think I have. What they share is rare.

The two actually talked about love in a short Valentine’s Day video they made in 2018. “I love you like I always have,” Esther told her husband.

It’s not so much what they’re saying as what they’re doing. They tease and laugh together, so full of love and life. This just goes to show that love is ageless.

The Huffmans are a beautiful example of marriage and friendship that lasts a lifetime. Congratulations on many years together, and here’s to many, many more!
