Ellen Partnered with Cheerios To Give Away Biggest Gift in Show History to This Deserving Family

Share

Everyone deserves a little help in life, but the gift that Ellen DeGeneres gave to one deserving family was a record-breaker for the popular daytime talk show.

Christi and Robert Daniels first appeared on The Ellen Show when they won spots as dancing elves during her “12 Days of Giveaways.”

“(S)ince this show, you have sparked something else in us,” Christi Daniels said. “You make us want to do more. Like go really hard.”

In their most recent act of kindness, Christi Daniels purchased items for a shopper with a newborn at Walmart.

DeGeneres invited the couple and their four kids back on her show to recognize them for their efforts of paying it forward despite the financial troubles the family has.

With some big help from Cheerios, she surprised the Daniels family with a gift that would help them out and change their life for good.

The family was given not one, but two $500,000 checks for a whopping total of $1 million.

Do you make an effort to pay it forward?

This is the largest gift that Ellen has ever given on her show, which is known for helping those in need.

The first $500,000 check was given to the Daniels family to help them better their lives — plenty of money to move the family of six out of their two-bedroom apartment into a house, pay for their four boys’ college educations and pay off their debt.

The second check came with a special request: They were to use the money to pay it forward to others.

This extremely generous gift from DeGeneres and Cheerios had the Daniels family on their knees.

They praised Ellen and her generosity, telling her over and over how much they loved her and all she does for others.

They praised God with tears streaming down their faces and said how truly blessed they were for this gift.

This was a surprise of a lifetime that will help change the lives of the Daniels family in numerous ways. We can’t wait to see how they will pay it  forward.
