ESPN ripped after making glaring error about Bills rookie Josh 'Rosen'

Mistakes happen all the time on television, but in this age of social media and instant screenshots, they get a lot more attention.

ESPN is finding that out the hard way as a graphics error sparked some humorous social media banter between two NFL teams.

Mike Rodak, the Bills reporter for ESPN, appeared on camera to talk about the team’s top draft pick, former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen.

Rodak did just that and spoke about the first practices of Allen, who is the Bills highest-drafted quarterback in franchise history, going at No. 7 overall.

But whoever built the graphics for Rodak’s live shot made a glaring mistake, giving the name of former UCLA star Josh Rosen instead of Josh Allen.

Rosen was also a first-first round QB, but he was taken by the Cardinals with the 10th overall selection.

At least ESPN got the head shot correct, as that is Josh Allen next to Josh Rosen’s name.

Fans quickly called out “The Worldwide Leader.”

The snafu even prompted a reaction from the Cardinals and Bills twitter accounts.

Rosen traveled to Buffalo during his pre-draft visits and talked glowingly about the organization.

Do you think the Bills chose the better Josh when they drafted Allen?

“I had a great visit with them, it was a lot of fun,” Rosen said. “If they want to pick me, they’ll pick me and I’d love to be in Buffalo.”

Obviously the Bills didn’t want to pick that Josh, but they did get the Josh they were seeking.

Josh Allen had a successful first minicamp practice in which he completed 10 of 12 passes during full team drills. He also met Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, who continues to recover from a recurrence of cancer.
