Famous Celeb Lady Gaga Delivers Pizza and Coffee for Hungry & Exhausted Wildfire Victims
Celebrities are taking the time to lend a helping hand to those affected by the California wildfires. From Guy Fieri to Sandra Bullock, it seems like a celebrity domino effect has started with no end in sight.
The latest star to pitch in took to social media to encourage others to perform random acts of kindness on Tuesday, Nov. 13 — World Kindness Day.
“It’s my favorite day of the year #WorldKindessDay and the day’s not over,” Lady Gaga wrote on Facebook. “It’s never too late to #BeKind.”
The singer/actress put action to her encouraging words when she decided to deliver pizzas to a shelter for wildfire evacuees.
“I’m on my way now to a shelter in California to be with people who have evacuated their homes,” she says in a Facebook video.
Lady Gaga happens to be an evacuee herself. According to People magazine, the “A Star is Born” actress is one among many celebs who have personally been affected by the wildfires.
“I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones,” Gaga wrote on Twitter on Nov. 9. “I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames.”

According to People magazine, the music sensation posted photos to her Instagram story that showed her delivering pizzas, coffee and gift cards to the California shelter.
She also shared notes thanking first responders for their efforts during this horrific time. These are the men and women who work tirelessly day in and day out.
“Thank you to the fire fighters, police, first and emergency responders for doing above and beyond everything you can do to help us,” she wrote on Twitter. “You are true heroes.”
She encouraged her followers on Facebook to donate to the Red Cross. She explained that a “$10 donation includes shelter, food, water, physical and mental health resources as well as emotional support” for wildfire victims.
Well done, Lady Gaga. No doubt the people at the shelter appreciated your kindness (and probably snapped a few selfies, too).
