Fixer Upper Stars Photoshoot. Joanna: "No Hiding Baby Bump Anymore"
From “Property Brothers” to “Love It Or List It,” HGTV has created a legacy of hosting creative shows worthy of the fans who watch them.
This is especially true for their ever-popular series “Fixer Upper,” starring Chip and Joanna Gaines and their restoration adventures in Waco, Texas.
The home makeover duo has been busy the past couple years getting their show up and running, as well as opening other small businesses down in Waco that have made them the ever-popular stars they deserve to be.
And of course, they did all of this while raising their four children: Drake, 12; Ella, 11; Duke, 9; and Emmie Kay, 7.
No matter how popular, however, the disappointing news was released to fans last fall about the show’s future: that season five would be its last.
“We are really, really proud of season five,” Chip said about the final season, which was to include special guest appearances — from Tim Tebow to former President and First Lady George and Laura Bush. “We laid it all on the field and didn’t hold anything back.”
However, the Gaineses admitted the reason for the tough decision was equal parts making more time for their four kids back home and making room for one on the way.
The pregnancy was announced via social media — much to the adoration and anticipation of fans.
Though the show will be no longer, the couple has been no stranger to keeping their fans updated through social media, especially when it comes to their daily adventures — and they admitted they won’t be stopping anytime soon.
And just recently, Joana updated her fans on the progress of the fifth Gaines member by posting an ultrasound of the baby to Twitter.

As the season wraps up, fans can continue to watch not only the couple turn run-down houses into beautiful homes but Joanna’s pregnancy progression.
From updates on her baby bump to midnight cravings, the ever-popular house renovator and mom has recently been posting updates for her followers.
The reality-show renovators admitted that, when everything was said and done, they simply wanted to be around for their kids as they grow up.
“The kids were so young when we started,” they said. “Fast-forward to today and our oldest is almost a teenager — they’re all growing up so quickly.”
Are you going to miss their show? What do you think their fifth baby will be?
