Gospel Singer Credits God After Cancerous Tumors Disappear and Doctor Finds Baby
It was Oct. 2017, and gospel recording artist Blair Monique Walker was in so much pain, she could scarcely get out of bed. Her doctor gave Walker a somber diagnosis: she had uterine cancer.
Walker’s treatment plan included a full hysterectomy. She scheduled the surgery and went in for a pre-operative appointment, which included an ultrasound of her uterine tumors.
During the ultrasound, Walker’s surgeon paused. Nobody was prepared for the life-changing moment that Walker can only describe as a miracle from God.
“It looks like your God removed all of your tumors,” Walker’s surgeon said. “And left you with a baby.”
But according to Walker, people were doubtful her pregnancy was viable.
Her doctor told her to prepare for a difficult pregnancy with an almost certain pre-term birth.
“I can appreciate the fact that your God performed this miracle for you,” Walker’s doctor told her.
“But with your past of preterm labors and hostile uterus, even though your tumors are gone, you won’t make it full term.”
But Walker waited, full of expectant hope that God would protect her and her unborn baby. On May 1, Walker took to social media to announce her full-term pregnancy.
“Sounds like another miracle to me!” she wrote. “Who did it?”
And on May 18, Walker gave birth to a healthy, vibrant baby boy. She named him Noah Alexander.
“Welcome our miracle to the world,” she wrote. “Nobody but God could’ve done something like this.”
“I stand amazed,” she continued. “My heart is overwhelmed and I can only expect greater things from God.”
