Grab Your Hairspray & Favorite Pink Sweater: 'Steel Magnolias' Is Returning to Theaters for 30th Anniversary

Share

There are so many spectacular films coming to the big screen in 2019. From Disney’s live-action remakes of “Dumbo,” “Aladdin” and “The Lion King,” to the highly-anticipated “Toy Story 4” and “Avengers: Endgame,” the theaters will be packed with fans of all ages.

One generation will no doubt be heading to the movies this spring, donning their pink sweaters and ’80s hairdos — a generation that grew up quoting Julia Roberts’ signature line:

“I would rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.” Are you crying yet?

Save those tears and tissues for a bit, because “Steel Magnolias” is returning to the silver screen in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
