Hunter Calls Coyotes, Then a Bone Chilling Rumble Comes Through the Trees
A hunter was practicing his coyote calls in the woods when he got a very loud, chilling response.
A video captures the howling by Jason Groseclose, a two-time World Coyote Howling Champion.
Who knew such a thing existed?
Groseclose went to the woods, sat on a chair and had a cameraman film him while he practiced his coyote calls.
Groseclose let out a long howl, but there was no response.
He followed up with a second howl, and his call was immediately returned with a choir of coyotes loudly howling in the distance.
It’s enough to give someone goosebumps.
Already the video has more than 3.9 million views.
Take a look at the video below:
While extremely fascinating, amateurs and those who have no knowledge of wildlife should not attempt this.
Groseclose is extremely lucky that he only heard the coyotes and didn’t see them.
According to Urban Coyote Research, coyote attacks are increasing in recent years.
In past years there have been 142 reported incidents of coyote attacks affecting 159 victims. “Most attacks were classified as predatory (37%) or investigative (22%) in nature,” their research showed.
Hopefully Groseclose was carrying a gun on him just in case any of the coyotes got too curious as to who was calling them.
Either way, this bone-chilling reaction to the hunter’s call is enough to make anyone afraid of the woods.
