Husband Looks at Photo of Wife from 20 Years Ago. Spots Himself As Child Photo-Bombing In Background
Do you believe in coincidence or fate, particularly when it comes to romantic relationships? Do two people meet and fall in love because they happen to be compatible or was it their destiny all along?
Mr. Ye and Ms. Xue had a fairly typical love story, or so they thought up until March 4. In 2011, they met in a Chengdu, China.
A year later, the couple married. Ye and Xue went on to have twin daughters.
Five years into their marriage, Ye discovered a photo they have taken as a sign they really were destined to be together.
Whether or not you believe in destiny, the couple’s incredible discovery is pretty convincing that their relationship was meant to be!
The couple along with their twin girls were visiting Xue’s mother. Ye’s curiosity about who their daughters looked more like, himself or his wife, led him to dig through old childhood photos of Xue.
One of the photos of his wife in front of the May Fourth Square in Qingdao caught his eye. She was wearing a white dress and sitting in front of the red sculpture.
Even though she was the main focus of the photo, it was the person in the background who captured his attention and was the subject of his awe. He was the teen in the background of this photo from July 2000.
According to Channel NewsAsia, Ye explained, “When I saw the photo, I was taken by surprise and I got goosebumps all over my body…That was my pose for taking photos.”
Ye was even able to find a separate photo of himself at that same moment Xue’s photo was taken. Sure enough, the photo of Ye showed him in the same clothing and posing the same way but from a different angle.
Even more incredible, their reasoning for being at the May Fourth Square was related to both of their mothers’ health issues. Ye’s mom had appendicitis so he went on the trip instead of her, and Xue’s mom had an operation that motivated her to take a trip to relax with her daughter.
The two photos confirmed that before the couple knew each other, they had been photographed together. It also confirmed, in their eyes, that it was destiny all along for them to be together.
