ICE Protesters Show True Intentions, Tear Down US Flag To Make Room for Foreign Colors
It appears the upcoming wave of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids are giving leftists an excuse to protest not only deportations but America in general.
Colorado authorities had to put the American flag back up on Friday after protesters took it down and replaced it with a Mexican flag outside of an ICE facility, according to Fox News.
Making matters worse, the same demonstrators removed and defaced a Blue Lives Matter flag — which stands to honor law enforcement across the nation — spray-painting “Abolish ICE” on the flag. They raised the vandalized flag upside-down and placed it next to the Mexican flag.
Here’s a video clip of the protesters hoisting the flag of Mexico:

The blatantly anti-American display happened during a large protest that involved hundreds of people who were there to protest the Trump administration and the controversial migrant detention centers across the southern border.
“Close the camps” and “let them all in” were some of the rallying cries shouted by the marching protesters, KDVR reported.
On Sunday, ICE agents around America are expected to round up thousands of illegal aliens across a span of U.S. cities.
While there were numerous bad actors at the protest, many remained peaceful. Aurora Chief of Police Nick Metz gave a token of appreciation “to everyone who remained peaceful & took the time to thank my cops.”

Ultimately, the American flag flew over the ICE facility a few hours later. You can see it wave in the video below.

It’s truly a sad time for America when a person — or a mob — believes they’re justified in attacking public property based on emotional outrage.
These individuals should be apprehended and charged for defacing government property — they cannot be allowed to carry out fascist acts without facing the legal ramifications of doing so. If they’re allowed to get away with these acts, the snowball effect across the country could quickly spiral out of control.
Not only are these protesters sowing discord among society, but they’re doing so in response to false information and propaganda regarding the origins of the border’s humanitarian crisis.
Under the administration of President Barack Obama, migrant detention facilities with chain-link “cages” for detainees were implemented along the U.S./Mexico border at various holding facilities.
“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” said Thomas Homan, Obama’s executive associate director of ICE for four years, according to the Washington Examiner.
The only difference between now and when Obama was in office is that these facilities are filling up far too quickly. That’s due in part to lax immigration enforcement, as increased red tape and conflicting rules from local jurisdictions are strangling law enforcement agencies on the border.
Far-left activists and Democratic politicians, especially those like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, need to put agendas aside for a bit and attempt to be proactive in their approach to the border crisis, not reactive.
