UK Islamist Sees Teen Cadets on Street, Says They'll Die by His Hand
Islam is a religion of peace, and Muslims just want to live up to the bumper-sticker slogan: “Coexist.”
That’s the message pushed by the mainstream media, but a radical Muslim in the United Kingdom just sent a very different message to a group of teenagers: ISIS will kill you.
According to The Daily Mail, a man has now been arrested after he approached a young cadet group doing a community fundraiser and threatened their lives.
“Rabbnawaz Ali made the threats to a group of youngsters, aged between 12 and 16, who were left frightened by the comments made,” the Mail reported.
Evidence heard by the court showed that Ali came up to the teenage cadets in a threatening manner and asked, “Where are you off next lads, Iraq?”
“Better be careful because me and my Isis brothers will kill you all. Your day will come,” Ali allegedly declared.
The young cadets were disturbed by the threat and summoned one of the adult leaders, who told the unhinged man that they would call the police. That’s when he escalated his threats.
“Your time will come,” Ali reportedly announced to the cadets and instructors. “We are going to bomb your compound.”
The youngsters were part of The Royal British Legion, which is a volunteer charity group that supports and raises money for veterans, similar to the American Legion here in the U.S.
Rabbnawaz Ali was already in trouble with the law after assaulting a shop employee and lighting a small fire.
“Ali, of Chapeltown, Leeds, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour, arson, assault and criminal damage,” the Mail explained.
Unsurprisingly, the British court seemed to downplay the role of Islam in the man’s actions.
Despite the fact that Ali specifically referenced the radical “Islamic State” group in his threats, the crime was explained away as part of paranoid schizophrenia, and the man was sent to a mental hospital as part of a 19-month prison sentence.
While that’s certainly better than nothing, the reality is that this clearly unstable radical will likely be back on the street in just over a year — or less, if he uses the lenient criminal system to his advantage.
The incident is an alarming reminder of a trend that is taking place throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Areas that were once the pride of Western culture are being overtaken by immigrants and hard-line Muslims who do not see other people as neighbors, but as infidels.
There’s a major difference between an irrational fear of anything different, and a realistic distrust of a group that repeatedly declares it’s trying to kill you.
The term “Islamophobia” is tossed around like it’s the worst offense imaginable, but take a step back. Why wouldn’t these teenage cadets — or the rest of the Western world — be wary of the growing tide of radical Islam?
This incident was not the incoherent ramblings of a crazed man, it was focused anger and hatred inspired by a radical religion that sees the entire world as a battleground. It’s time to take this threat seriously.
