Johnny Manziel hospitalized in Texas
Former Cleveland Browns and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was hospitalized in Texas, according to TMZ Sports.
Manziel was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Humble, Texas, on Monday.
The mercurial former Heisman Trophy winner was in town to attend a concert and play in a charity golf tournament hosted by former Aggies teammate Mike Evans.

“It seems like he had a reaction to an adjustment in his prescription,” Manziel representative Denise Michaels told TMZ.
Fortunately, Manziel seems to be recovering just fine.
“He’s fine and headed home,” Michaels said.
Despite Manziel seemingly being OK, this is still a scary incident considering his acknowledged issue with alcohol and his revelation back in February that he suffers from bipolar disorder. There’s no evidence to suggest that Manziel’s latest trip to hospital had anything to do with his aforementioned issues.
Manziel showed no signs of any problems as recently as Saturday when he was preparing for Evans’ golf tournament.

Manziel’s health scare comes in the midst of his latest NFL comeback attempt. In particular, he has been pushing his “Comeback SZN” catchphrase strongly as of late.

The 25-year-old Manziel tore up the college football scene in 2012, securing him a Heisman Trophy that year.
Manziel eventually parlayed his collegiate success into being a first-round draft pick of the Browns in 2014. Unfortunately, from there, nothing seemed to go right for him.
After struggling for two seasons with the weight of being Cleveland’s football savior pushing down on his shoulders, Manziel was cut in 2016.
Shortly afterward, Manziel suffered through a series of issues. He became the first NFL player ever fired by powerhouse agent Drew Rosenhaus. Nike also cut all ties with him. And preceding that, Manziel was swept up in a domestic violence scandal involving his ex-girlfriend.
To top it all off, the NFL levied a four-game suspension against Manziel for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. That suspension has yet to be served, and will have to be if Manziel wants to complete his comeback.
