Kate Middleton Has Sweetest Reaction After Letting Little Girl Touch Her Hair

Share

Kate Middleton has charmed us from day one with her “Princess Diaries” worthy story. Hers is a tale we never tire of hearing.

Her smile is genuine. Her style is modest and classy. Yes, the Duchess of Cambridge is a daughter-in-law we’ve no doubt Diana would be proud of.

People are drawn to this woman, and it’s easy to see why. From the kindness in her eyes to the shine in her hair, Prince William’s significant other exudes grace and poise.

Duchess Kate makes headlines often, and so have her many hairstyles. Subtle, chic, elegant or casual, she never fails to show off her locks and make us envy that beautiful bounce in her loose curls.

In fact, we love her hair so much it makes us want to reach out and touch it. One little girl did just that, and we’re loving Kate’s reaction.

According to People magazine, the 37-year-old royal wife and mom of three was visiting the community of Dundee, Scotland, when she came across a little girl wearing a pink coat.

The moment they shared was like something from a fairy tale. The sweet child looked at the Duchess with wonder in her eyes as she reached out and touched Miss Middleton’s signature style.

Do you have a favorite Kate Middleton moment?

Today” reported the look we’ve come to know and love is known as the “Chelsea blowout” in the U.K. We’re betting the little girl didn’t know this, but she did know she couldn’t resist touching the royal hairdo.

The moment was caught on film and it’s just too sweet not to watch at least twice. The Duchess remains as kind and genuine as ever, grinning widely, laughing and exchanging a few words with the child.

“It’s not just about Kate’s hair — it is beautifully finished, frizz-free, shiny hair,” Kate’s royal wedding hairstylist, Richard Ward, tells People magazine. “It’s a hairstyle that is well finished.”

We’d like to take that comment a step further and say he’s right, it’s not just about her hair. It’s about the person she is — that’s what we believe drew the little girl to reach out.

The Duchess of Cambridge has always come off as approachable, despite her royal status. It’s just the way she is.

We think it’s safe to say royalty didn’t take away the small town girl inside. If anything, it only made her shine more brightly.
