LaVar's Big Baller Brand gets an 'F' rating after investigation

From one BBB to another BBB, looks like LaVar Ball has his next feud all lined up.

The Better Business Bureau skewered Ball’s Big Baller Brand after an investigation into the company, per TMZ Sports.

In fact, the Better Business Bureau gave the Big Baller Brand an “F” rating, the lowest possible grade it can give, after looking into a litany of negative reviews and complaints.

The complaints were numerous and varied.

One customer complained that after purchasing a pair of items from the Big Baller Brand online store, they were informed of a one-to-two week delay. That delay eventually stretched to six weeks, and when the customer inquired about it, the customer claims they were called a “small baller.”

“At this point I believe they have decided to steal my money,” the customer wrote in his complaint.

Another customer complained that after ordering a pair of Z02 shoes for his son, he was sent the incorrect size. The customer had initially asked for size 10.5-11, but was sent a size 8. The shoes were supposed to be a Christmas gift.

The customer even offered to return the shoes at his expense, in exchange for properly sized shoes, and didn’t receive a response. Five e-mails later, the customer still never received a proper response from the Big Baller Brand.

Another customer had a similarly nightmarish experience trying to change the shipping address on their order, with the Big Baller Brand offering nary a substantive response to the issue.

A different customer purchased a sweatshirt and was immediately billed the $85 price tag. While the order was initially shown as “on its way,” the tracking number continued to show that it was “getting ready.” Weeks later, the issue was unresolved. Again, the customer was unable to reach customer service to resolve the issue.

“This is completely unacceptable and reflects fraudulent business practices,” the customer wrote.

One customer claimed to have placed an order, and ended up receiving an item that wasn’t even listed on the website, prompting the customer to suspect the item was a counterfeit.

“This is not a good way to do business,” another customer wrote after receiving the incorrect order before getting virtual radio silence from the Big Baller Brand customer service.

The complaints mostly all continue in this manner.

From these customer accounts, it sounds like Big Baller Brand can’t deliver on time, can’t deliver correctly, and seems completely unwilling to engage in any sort of customer service or refund policies.

In total, according to the Better Business Bureau, the Big Baller Brand has 41 negative reviews with zero positive reviews.

The company also has 33 formal complaints on file.

“This is very definitely substandard normal business practices for anybody,” Blair Looney, CEO of Better Business Bureau Central California, told TMZ Sports.

“As a result of the repeat pattern of complaints, the volume of complaints, Big Baller now has an ‘F’ rating with the BBB, which is the lowest rating possible in the BBB system.”

LaVar Ball has yet to issue a formal response at the time of this writing, but it’ll assuredly be his usual mix of brash blame deflection.

No matter what Ball says, however, it’s impossible to deny that there just isn’t anything very “Big Baller” about a big, fat “F.”
