Netflix Suffers Subscriber Massacre After Moving in Extremely Liberal Direction

Share

It appears that Netflix’s liberal-laced changes are backfiring.

The American media-services provider recently lost more than 100,000 U.S.-based subscribers — 126,000, to be exact — according to The Daily Wire.

Want to jack up your prices? Want to welcome former President Barack Obama and ex-first lady Michelle Obama with open arms?

Then be prepared to see countless loyal subscribers dissipate like the morning mist.

Rather than embrace all of those Americans — regardless of their political affiliation or religious beliefs — who had joined Netflix, the streaming giant continues to distance itself from half of its would-be subscribers.

How does it abandon thee? Let me count the ways.

Netflix neither cared nor considered that collaborating with the Obamas and their company, Higher Ground Productions, would impact the steaming giant’s bottom line.

Are you a Netflix subscriber?

The company’s shares slipped more than 10 percent Wednesday, CNBC reported.

The drop in Netflix numbers isn’t merely a result of its public embrace of leftist ideology and Democrats.

Granted, shows like “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman” have included the Obamas — and Twitter users have connected the dots; it’s no coincidence Netflix viewers are literally turned off.

However, other businesses are also stepping up their services.

It hasn’t escaped notice that Netflix is feeling the heat from the likes of Disney, Amazon, Criterion and Apple.

Let’s not forget that free movie- and television-streaming apps like Tubi and Pluto TV have also made inroads.

Georgia is on my mind and those of Netflix subscribers who disagree with the company’s threat to boycott the state due to its abortion restrictions, as Newsweek reported.

Netflix’s decision-makers deliberately chose its political proclivities over customers and quality.

What’s more, the company had the audacity to increase costs.

It all sounds more like a recipe for a ratings disaster than a successful business model.

Arrogance that walks around blind without a cane knows no boundaries.
