NFL Superstar's Brother Rips Him for Not Calling Mom Caught in California Wildfires
The Green Bay Packers weren’t one of the six NFL teams to play on Thanksgiving, but even with the day off, it’s unlikely Aaron Rodgers spent the holiday with his brother.
A rift in the Rodgers family grew deeper with comments that Aaron’s brother, Jordan, made Wednesday on Twitter.
Both brothers grew up in Northern California, where their family still lives. The area has been under siege by the recent wildfires, and Aaron posted a video in support of a recovery fund for those affected.

It is a heartfelt video from Rodgers, who was wearing a “Butte Strong” sweater in support of his hometown.
His brother, however, called him out for supposedly not contacting their mother.

The Rodgers family drama dates back a couple of years; it started when Aaron started dating actress Olivia Munn in 2014, according to The New York Times.
In 2016, Jordan appeared as a contestant on the reality TV show “The Bachelorette” and revealed that Aaron is estranged from the rest of the family.
The patriarch of the Rodgers family, Ed, told People that he’s not on speaking terms with Aaron.
“Fame can change things,” he said about his son in 2017.
Aaron has tried to keep the family drama out of the tabloids and has declined to comment when asked about his brother’s public criticisms.
“As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition,” Aaron said about Jordan’s appearance on “The Bachelorette.”
The superstar quarterback has also yet to publicly respond to his brother’s latest comments.
